Well,
we finally made it out again!
What
can I say, good fish good weather and tired arms and backs.
The
4 of us left out about day light, We fish our way out, the snapper
started getting good at about120' range and it didnt take
long to put a 16 limit of snapper smallest 8.5 to 20 lbs 7 of
them over 14 lbs.
We
when headed out to deeper water in search of grouper, with a
stop or two along the way for a few nice dolphin. We started
the grouper off with a pare of twin red grouper at 17 lbs. followed
by 4 gag ranging between 12 and 35 lbs.
We
were tired hot and about out of ice chest room, so we headed
for home.
On
a whim we decide to make a quick stop at one of our shallower
spots on the way in.

Before we could get our baits in the water, black and red snapper
were up in the water just below the boat. Eric decided to try
a top water plug for them. No luck, he couldnt because
he couldnt keep the 15- 25 lb amberjack of it long enough.
Amberjack striking on the surface is an awesome site. We were
catching snapper 6' below the boat and before we knew it we
were out of ice chest room.

What
a day, over 400 lbs of big grouper snapper and other assorted
seafood, it doesnt get any better.
