TimberTech - You'll Never Find Wood This Good TimberTopper^TM deck covers make resurfacing weathered wood decks fast and easy. All you have to do is cut them to length and fasten in place over the existing surface for an easy-to-maintain deck that will keep its good looks. They come in 12' and 16' lengths.

Tools

For all TimberTech deck planks and accessories, standard woodworking tools may be used.
Protective clothing and safety glasses are recommended.

Exposure To Weather

TimberTech planks will weather to a natural driftwood gray (light brown in hot, dry climates) in approximately 8-10 weeks.
Shaded areas will weather at a slower rate.

Installation

TimberTech - No Rotting, No Warping, No Splitting, No Sweat.

Replace any warped deck planks with new wood planks.
Cut TimberTopper to length and place over existing deck planks.
Fasten every 16" with two 2-1/2" stainless steel deck screws (one through each recessed area of the TimberTopper).
TimberTopper should NEVER be used as deck planks.
TimberTopper will follow the contour of underlying planks, and will not even out warped boards.

Painting/Staining

Although not required, TimberTech may be painted or stained.
Wait apprximately 8-10 weeks, or until planks have weathered, before painting or staining.
For best results, use a high-quality oil-based paint or solid colored stain.
Once TimberTech planks are painted or stained, subsequent applications will be necessary to maintain appearance.

10-Year Limited Warranty

TimberTech Limited (hereinafter "Manufacturer") warrants that each TimberTech Deck Product will not rot, decay, split, check, splinter or suffer termite or fungal damage for a period of ten (10) years from the date of the original consumer purchase from an authorized TimberTech dealer. Each purchaser of a TimberTech Deck Product is solely responsible for determining the effectiveness, suitability and safety of any particular use or application of the product. Building code regulations vary from area to area. Each TimberTech purchaser should consult local building and safety codes for specific requirements. The Warranty provided herein is expressly conditioned upon the use of the product in connection with a residential or commercial structure and its installation in accordance with Manufacturer's written guidelines.

Manufacturer's liability under this Warranty is limited solely and exclusively to replacement of defective TimberTech Deck Product, and in no event shall Manufacturer be liable for labor, installation, reinstallation, freight, taxes or any other charge related to defective product. Manufacturer shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, punitive, consequential, exemplary or other damages of any kind whatsoever, whether any such claim is based upon theories of contract, warranty, negligence, tort, strict liability or otherwise.
